Question 1.

1.     In order to create my Research and Planning portfolio, research had to be completed in order to find out and learn about the key codes and conventions of music magazines. I was able to learn and study about music magazines in lots of ways, but one on the most important was looking at other music magazines and focusing on the basic conventions within a variety of them. I used popular music magazines which all had their own unique design which meant that they were all able to appeal to their own target audiences. These magazines included, NME, Q, and Rolling Stones. Magazines such as Rolling Stones were more subtle as they had a basic colour theme along with a similar font throughout.

Audience Feedback.

Billy Adams- the picture is really good, i really like the facial expression of the person used, the only down side is i would take the background out.

Kirstie Levell- more articles are needed on the contents page, as that is what a contents page should consist of. The image on the bottom right is just floating and i dont know how it relates to, so maybe have a heading with it. The colours used show, what type of magazine it really is.

Karl Graham- more text needs to be on the double page spread, make the questions the colour of your title and black for the writing that way it makes it looks professional.

Terri Louise- more images used on the double page spread, better quality aswell.

Kyle Hughes- make sure you used social network icons on some part of the three templates.

Bad photo.

This is a bad photo because the main person is looking away and not facing the camera so you cant see his face properly, a finger is in the way of the camera when the photo is taking to it looks poor and of a bad quality.
